How is Periodontal Treatment ?

Periodontal disease can be treated. When you apply to our clinic for your periodontal disease , our expert team first learns about your health history and gum diseases. This is because gingivitis is more common if, for example, you have a diabetic or blood disease. When such diseases are diagnosed under the control of a dentist, the treatment process and the effect of the treatment progress more healthily.

Periodontal treatment consists of two procedures. Early diagnosis of the patient in the first stage is very important. With early diagnosis, treatment is successful in 3 to 4 sessions, depending on the condition of the disease. Accordingly, in the first stage, the patient’s health history is learned and a radiographic examination is performed. After the patient passes the doctor's control, the existing tartar cleaning, microbial dental plaque, and inflammation in the gums are eliminated. In the next process, the patient should provide regular care of her teeth and gums. In the next process, the patient should provide regular care of her teeth and gums.

In the second stage, surgical intervention is performed for patients with advanced gingivitis. In this procedure, which is performed under local anesthesia, the patient does not feel any pain. The gums are opened, the inner part of the gums and roots are cleaned. Finally, the gums are sutured again and the process is completed. The physician tells the patient how to apply oral and dental care correctly, and after the treatment is over, the patient is expected to be able to continue this practice correctly. Otherwise, the infection may resurface and a more difficult process may occur.
